Aptar Opens Second Facility in Chonburi, Thailand

Spread over 5,000 square meters, Aptar’s new facility in Chonburi, Thailand will house state-of-the-art injection, assembly and finishing capabilities. It will also allow room for expansion and exploration of new technology and optimization.

Spread over 5,000 square meters, Aptar’s new facility in Chonburi, Thailand will house state-of-the-art injection, assembly and finishing capabilities. It will also allow room for expansion and exploration of new technology and optimization.

Customer centricity is the foundation of everything we do and “You said it we made it” were the key remarks made by Rohit Kachroo, Senior General Manager, South East Asia during his welcome speech during the opening of the new facility. He elaborated further that the new plant will assist in our efforts to satisfy the packaging needs of the market with agility and innovation under one roof.

The event received industry support as it was attended by over 100 of Aptar business partners and was presided by Stephan Tanda, Aptar President and CEO, Shiela Vinczeller, Chief Human Resources Officer and Adrian Jacklowsky, President ASEAN, Japan, Korea.

While Stephan expressed Aptar’s ongoing commitment to Asia, innovation, talent and a diverse and inclusive culture, the event also was also a showcase of Aptar’s promise to bring more technologies, especially injection, to our Global MNC’s in the Region.

Supriya Srivastava, Director Marketing and Communication, India and Southeast Asia, presented the latest product range called the “Essential Series” to the market. The Essential Series was designed based on market input of cost optimization, efficiency and consumer convenience and follows the mantra, “Think local leverage global.”

“We are listening” was the resounding message throughout the morning session. “We are listening, our business is to turn your [the customer] needs into functional possibilities,” said Adrian in concluding remarks.

The event was an opportunity for customers and partners to visit the factory and make suggestions. “It is a reflection of possibilities and expansion”, was the overwhelming response as the team was complimented for its agility and vision by its customer, suppliers and partners in business.
