Within its Visionnaire skincare line, Lancôme is launching Visionnaire Yeux Eye On Correction, a triple-action refreshing balm that works to correct wrinkles and erase dark shadows and under-eye circles. For this new premium product, Mega Airless, part of Aptar, has developed an oval container from its Micro range with beautiful decor.
For this revolutionary new product, L’Oréal requested a package with a standout design, as well as 100% formula protection. Mega Airless answered this demand with an oval-shaped bottle from its Micro airless line, available in 15 and 30 ml formats. Unlike traditional cylindrical bottles, this option allows Mega Airless to provide distinct added value to the brand as the bottle is much more visible and offers a greater surface area for printing.
When it comes to its decor, the package is exceptionally elegant. Manufactured entirely from polypropylene (PP), the pack is protected with a transparent lacquer as base for the silk-screen-printing of the product information. The logo is applied by using silver hot stamping on the top of the transparent cap. The central adapter ring is also hot-stamped to give an aluminum effect.
With this product, Mega Airless demonstrated their know-how in decoration and printing techniques. To meet customer demand, the company has in-house capacity to provide silkscreen printing with 3- and 4-color printing machines, hot stamping and labeling. Partnerships with trusted external suppliers provide further decoration techniques such as metallization and lacquering.
